ARE YOU CONCERNED WITH YOUR TEEN BOY’S VIDEO GAME ADDICTION?
Some boys are more vulnerable to video game addiction. The following traits can make your son more likely to become addicted to video games:
- Shyness
- ADHD traits
- Underdeveloped social skills
- Social anxiety
- Lack of confidence in sports
- Less verbally expressive
- Quiet or introverted
Some children or teens may naturally gravitate to video games as a way to escape stressors and avoid being compared, taunted, or bullied.
The Goal of our program is to:
Allow the boy to experience the real world in a safe, physically active, non-judging environment in a one on one relationship with is coach/therapist, and later as part of a group. He can express his fears and concerns safely, develop coordination and physical strength gradually, learn social skills and good sportsmanship, experience the joy of working hard, getting physically worn out and improving at an activity.
